Emails sent from a Fraudulent SightCall accounts

We are writing to inform you that several customers have received emails from two compromised SightCall email accounts: us.accountspayable@sightcall.com and us.accountreceivable@sightcall.com.

Today, we noticed outbound email activity which alerted us that these accounts were compromised, and as a result, unauthorized emails were sent to individuals who had previously corresponded with these accounting personas.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion or concern this may have caused. Please be assured that:

  • We have taken immediate action to secure the affected accounts.
  • The origin of the breach has been identified and contained.
  • No internal systems or financial data (accounting records, billing or banking details, etc) have been compromised beyond the email accounts.

If you received any unexpected or suspicious emails from either of these addresses, please disregard them and do not click on any links or download attachments.
